So you are headed to Los Angeles for Super Bowl LVI and are looking for things to do. Here’s a quick list of things to do.
Experience Inglewood
Super Bowl 2022 will be held at SoFi Stadium on February 13th so naturally, my first suggestion would be to visit the stadium. Home to Super Bowl LVI, Inglewood is a city in southwestern Los Angeles County, California. The city is near Los Angeles International Airport. The Big Game will host the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals. The city of Inglewood will host a free, three-day festival on Market Street featuring music, food, vendors, and more. “Insecure” creator Issa Raewill receive the key to the city during this festival.
NFL Super Bowl Experience
Super Bowl Experience Presented by Lowe’s Tickets is the NFL’s interactive football theme park – comes to LA for Super Bowl LVI starting Saturday, February 5 & Sunday, February 6 and again on Thursday, February 10 – Saturday, February 12 at the LA Convention Center.

Disneyland
A theme park in Anaheim, California opened on July 17, 1955. It is the only theme park designed and built to completion under the direct supervision of Walt Disney.
Universal Studios
Universal Studios Hollywood is a film studio and theme park in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles County, California. About 70% of the studio lies within the unincorporated county island known as Universal City while the rest lies within the city limits of Los Angeles, California.
Here is a list of some other great places to visit during Super Bowl LVI:
This Spanish-inspired luxury hotel is your home away from home.
Tiff Tip – Nice romantic weekend retreat but I would not stay longer than 3 days.
The Location: Far from ordinary (the hotel’s tagline) but close enough! The hotel is about 2 hours south of Los Angeles, and 30-minute north of San Diego. The closest airport is ~ 20 miles from the property.
The Parking: Valet parking
The Check-in: The hotel registration/check-in desk is interesting. The desk is in a room off to the right of the main entrance. Inside, the hotel guest reservation staff is behind this oversized desk with 2 chairs in front of each table. One perk, they have chilled champagne in the back of the room.
The Scene: Rancho Valencia is an award-winning property from that has the perfect odd inspired vibe of Mediterranean and equestrian. A true diamond in the rough. From the moment you walk in, you inhale this fresh SoCal air. The main restaurant and lobby area is outdoor.
The Lobby/Bar: Open-air lobby overlooking the lush grounds and property.
The Rooms: Ranch-style rooms large suite. The property is an all-suite hotel with several villa areas. Ask for a room close to the main lobby or pool (splish, splash). If you’re not so fortunate, don’t worry the resort has golf carts to transport guests back and forth to their room. To my knowledge, most of the rooms have a back patio which is its own little sanctuary.
The bathroom is EVERYTHING, like seriously. It’s bigger than my old NYC apartment! The shower alone has to be at least 6 feet wide in the center of the bathroom. If you plan to visit for away, the bathroom has a walk-in closet equipped with a mirror, hat and belt racks, and endless other resources. Natura Bisse toilette products are available in the bathroom. If the shower is not your thing, you also have the option to enjoy a nice relaxing bubble bath in your jetted whirlpool tub.
The living room is a few steps down from the sleeping area. The space is very cozy, especially with the working fireplace.
The Pool: Gated pool area that is secretly open 24-hrs…(sheesh it’s a secretϑ). There’s a pool bar, several lounge chairs, and a Jacuzzi tub.
The Service: Excellent as expected from a 5-Star hotel. It’s the little things like calling room service in the morning and the operator telling me that freshly squeezed orange juice was already outside my door.
The Dam$ge: I did mention this is a 5-star Forbes Travel, Conde Nest Travel…need I say more? $$$$
The Reason: Weekend get-a-away
The D’Over?: Without hesitation – now it’s going to be an annual trip!
The LeftOvers?: A big smile and a bigger dent in your wallet #priceless.
The Experience: Hotel Mousai is everything you need and want in a luxury adult-only property. The hotel is the 1st and only AAA Five Diamond-rated resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico! This all-suite property conveniently offers on-site Covid-19 testing.
Tiff Tips:Nice romantic retreat. We didn’t have the all-inclusive option, decided to eat offsite (best decision, look at restaurant views).
The Location: Far from ordinary, the hotel is tucked away surrounded by a picturesque lush tropical backdrop. The hotel is about 35 minutes from Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR).
The Parking: Not sure, we called taxis or a car service during our stay (hotel can arrange for you)
The Check-in: You are greeted with a well-made tropical drink. The registration/check-in desk is off to the left side as you enter the lobby. The reservation staff is behind a desk next to the concierge.
The Scene: From the moment you walk in, you inhale the fresh air. This property is very chic and luxurious with a modern vibe. Vibe exudes “sexy” inspired by tropical and European décor.
The Lobby: Spacious, breathtaking views.
The Bar: Rooftop ultra-chic bar with stunning views and a pool. The Infinity pool is surrounded by beach chairs and lounge seating.
The Restaurant: Great onsite options.
The Rooms: We were in a Mousai suite in the South Tower suite (1st tower built). Our large suite had a stunning view. The room comes equipped with an iPad that controls everything from your lights to opening the blinds. Music can be played with a built-in surround sound system in the room and private balcony (also controlled by your iPad). Each room comes with a medium-size refrigerator and a private heated plunge pool and hammock outside on your balcony. Each balcony has a lounge chaise chair, a set of outdoor chairs, and a side table. The bathroom is EVERYTHING, like seriously. Contains a bidet, vanity table and bathtub, and standing shower with rainfall spout.
The Pool: Rooftop infinity pool.
The Spa/Gym: Too busy to go…😢
The Service: Exceptional as expected from a 5-diamond hotel. You have your own personal butler.
The Dam$ge: I did mention this is a 5-diamond property…need I say more? $$$$
The Reason: 1st solo vacation since having my 5-year old daughter 😊
The D’Over?: Without hesitation, we already booked a stay for later this year!
The LeftOvers?: A big smile and rejuvenated marriage #priceless!
Because you asked….
